This Memorial Square comes to us from Elizabeth in Oklahoma in memory of her husband, Cyrus Silas McKinney. Elizabeth writes: COVID-19 has taken by husband of 22 years. He was a hard worker and was a loving, caring husband, son, uncle, brother and best friend. COVID-19 does not discriminate whatsoever. It breaks hearts and causes suffering but we can have hope with the vaccinations. Elizabeth has sent us Cyrus’s funeral program which notes that Cyrus was an avid fisherman and a big fan of the Oklahoma Sooners. With these items and her descriptions of him, we made this Memorial Square for Elizabeth. We will honor and remember Cyrus on a panel of the Covid Memorial Quilt.
