This Memorial Square comes to us from Blanche in Ohio in memory of Del Armstrong, who died of COVID-19 on November 11, 2020. Blanche writes: #TeamArmstrong became a team in 2013 when we went on a family cruise celebrating our 50th Wedding Anniversary. Having a family of 3 girls and ending up with 7 grandsons! Long story short. Our grandsons played every sport on the ship and took 26 1st place medals! They had to come up with a team name and that is how #TeamArmstrong was born! Del (PAP) was the Leader! Del and Team Armstrong will be honored and remembered on the Covid Memorial Quilt.
