Like so many others, my dad died alone in a nursing home without anyone to hold his hand or comfort him. My dad was one of ten children – nine boys and one girl. ALL of the boys served our great nation. Six of them were in WWII, and all of them saw active combat. There is a story, a face, and a family in each square of the Covid Memorial Quilt.
