This Memorial Square comes from Susan in California to honor her father, Clancy Imislund, who died of COVID-19. Susan writes: The enclosed mask has my dad’s face and dates on it. He died of COVID, sad and alone last summer. I was so happy to read about the Covid Memorial Quilt to memorialize victims of COVID-19, and hope there is some way for you to include this mask. NOTE: Dear Susan, we will absolutely use Clancy’s mask to create a Memorial Square to honor his life. He will be remembered on the Covid Memorial Quilt and in our hearts.
