This Memorial Square comes to us from Dorwyne in California in memory of her mother Dorothy Johnson, who died of COVID-19 on December 19, 2020. Dorwyne writes: Thank you so much for taking the time to put together these quilts to honor our loved ones. My mother got COVID-19 in a long-term care facility. She was a great mother! Her generosity, compassion and kindness toward others was immeasurable. I feel her absence but feel blessed to have such fond memories to cherish. We will honor and remember Dorothy on the Covid Memorial Quilt.
